A day in the life of Kevy

Today Da and I were talking and wondering what would it be like to be Kev?  You know just wandering around the house and looking for things to entertain your self, basically all day.  He is a very independent little guy.  He is great about entertaining himself and of course great about getting into trouble and sadly also he is at the age where he is always getting hurt.  He is really cute about hats lately.   Especially this hat.  He looks so cute.

Since Jack is into swords and capes, of course Kev likes them too.  He had us put this towel on him.   He also all the time runs and gets a light saber, gives one to someone,(mostly Da and I) and than runs and gets one for himself so we can fight.  He makes the cutest little sound effects too.

And of course its also great to put on a hat too.

Another regular thing to pass his days is get someone to get him a glass of water, take one drink, dump in on the floor, and thankfully most of the time when asked, wipe it up.  When ever he sees the camera out he instantly poses and yells out cheeeeeeeese!

His current favorite past time is getting the stool out and going through the drawers.

If he can't find what he is looking for, he gets down and moves to another draw.

Which by the way is a spoon.  He quickly gets down, goes and finds Da or myself and gets you to follow him to the fridge, where he wants you to open it and get him a yogurt.  It is absolutely his fav. food and he eats at least 3 a day.  I rationalize to myself that he is very cute and persistent and its not candy so why not have several a day right?

He has to feed himself

He does a fairly good job, with little mess as long as he stays at the table and does not decide to walk the house with his yogurt. Which of course does happen from time to time.

He also refuses and I repeat REFUSES to sit at his booster seat. If you even try to strap him in it, or even try to talk him in to sitting in it, he pretty much pitches a huge fit.  We are fabulous parents and let him have his way.   I mean, who really cares? And since he is the 4th kid we are tired.

He is also following in his brothers footsteps and loves to watch TV.  But he only really likes one barney tape that we have which is really quite old as it was Jared's.  He goes into Da and I's room, hops onto the bed, gives his best smile and points to the TV.  When you ask him if he wants to watch Barney, he giggles out loud.

Kev is a pure Joy and Delight to be around.  He is so loved by everyone in this family and outside of our family too.  He is not much for conversation yet, but either was Jack at this age, so we are not really worried. He does have several words which are so cute.  He loves balls, and wakes up from sleep asking for one.  He also loves to be outside, jumping on the trampoline, riding his bike and playing basketball(Da has to lift him up to make a shot) He wants to be with the older kids constantly and follows them around.   When the girls do cart wheels he puts his arms up in the air, runs across the rug, lays down and puts his feet up in the air. Its so hysterical! I think he really thinks he is doing a cartwheel.  :) He started going to nursery a few weeks ago and has done pretty well, as long as Da drops him off and not me.  Apparently Da is better at sneaking out.  The nursery leader is awesome and went and bought some balls to have in nursery just for him.
He is one great little kid!!!!!
