A visit from Cass

Right after we came back from Grant and Liz's we had some visitors. Cass and her kids came and stayed with us for a week. It was great! Have I mentioned on this blog how much we love visitors???????????We tried to show her all the main highlights of our area. I think she and the kids had fun, I know we loved having them! These pictures might be a bit sporadic, but at least we thought to take some! We took them to Cock of the walk, a restaurant that serves really good catfish. The kids are feeding the ducks afterwards in this picture. We also went to the zoo of course, one of my favs in this area.

We took them to the swamp in hopes to see some gators, but no luck this time. Bub was disappointed.

We went to the children's museum. The kids played a game of life size scrabble.

Yes, Maddie is my child. We are not known for our upper body strength. AND, Bud made fun of me on facebook. I would just like to remind him that once upon a time, I used to be able to hold my own against him and Cass. Granted my strategy was sitting on them, not pining them with my arms. HA!

I also roped Cass into a girls night out and I took her yard saling with me! It was so fun. I am glad they came, and can't wait for her to come back this summer. Next time she will have little Bear with her. That will even things up, 7 kids is just not enough to take around, 8 will be so much better. :)
