The smokey mountains-part 1

Last week we met Dave and Janelle(Da's parents) and their four kids who are still living at home, and Grant, Liz and Hallie in the Smokey Mountains.   Oh my goodness, we had so much fun.   We can not wait to go again  it is so beautiful there.  Plus of course our company was pretty sweet too.   I think Janelle and I talked about doing this a few times a year...............
The top picture is the view from our room we stayed at.  It is was amazing.   Really pictures and words can not do this place justice.  You must go for yourself.

So, one of the first things we did was go on this really cool hike which leads to a waterfall.   On the way in, we saw a bear climbing down a tree!  Too cool!

 Hallie just loves being with the kids, she is a funny girl.

 Yes, there is a path to walk behind it.  Pretty fun.

 Way to go Papa Dave, carried Jack a good part of the way.  Jack was talking non stop on this hike, that kid always has something to say.

 Just our family chose to go to the Dixie Stampede.  Cameras are not allowed, but we did get this one pic of our family.  It was so great. Its a pretty cool horse show with a dinner that they feed you while watching the show. The food was fabulous, and the show was excellent. Would defintly reccomend it.
