At the cafe where we had the beignets, they had two girls playing music on the sidewalk. They were so good, and Madelynn loved them.
They saw our kids sitting there and played the sesame street theme song, I was so impressed. They were so good, and played song after song without any sheet music.
This is just a sample of what some of the balconies look like, pretty. The city is so old, but the detail in the buildings is amazing.
We went out to eat at a place that served cajun food, and it was so good! They had a live band with a dance floor. Below, Madelynn, Sadie and Ali are dancing together. They were so cute, they danced forever. They kept giggling and having a great time.
Each girl wanted a turn to dance with Daddy. Sadie was a little shy, of course.
Madelynn was not shy, of course
Jack loved the live music, he kept clapping.
The best part of the trip was the aquarium, it was sensational! The kids were in awe of all the exhibits(which were so elaborate) and the ocean life.
I have seen many alligators since moving to the south, and it still amazes me how still they are. This one was pure white, a first for me.
Jack playing in the adventure land. Ali just loves Jack, its so cute.
The girls seen in a tube inside a fish tank.

They had a pool where you could pet a sting ray. I did it, it was a little freaky, he was kind of squishy, but it was cool. Da was trying to help Maddie do it here, but she was too scared and did not actually touch him, but she was close.

That aquarium looks really cool. They'll love navy pier in Chicago whenever we go up there. New Orleans looks like such a fun place. What kind of cajun food did you eat? any gumbo?
Looked like you had allot of fun. I agree with Nathaniel - I would be scared to touch the sting ray. Loved the pictures of the kids Sa has really grown.
It all looked like such fun. Reminds me of Sea World, San Diego. We had lots of great times there. I think everyone may have enjoyed it more than Disneyland. Thanks for sharing all the great pictures.
Wow! I've always wanted to go to New Orleans. It seems like such a cool city with so much history. It looks like you had so much fun.
