Happy 2nd birthday to our little man

Last week our little Jack man turned 2! I can not express how much we love this little guy. He brings our family so much joy and happiness. His personality is so hilarious! He is always making us laugh at the little things he does. Some special things we really love about him are .......

He is all boy... for having two older sisters, he is so into boy things. He loves balls, playing catch, and bats and playing cars. He loves to wrestle and he is always running wherever he goes.

He is always happy. This little guy is always in a good mood. He is so predictable. He wakes up happy and is happy all day.

Da and I both love that when we put him to bed he just snuggles right up to us. We have sang him the same good night song most of his life, and now he sings along with us. Nothing warms my heart more than to hear his sweet little voice singing along to mine.

He loves his big sisters. No matter what they are doing, he wants to do it too. Lately the girls have been picking me a lot of flowers from the yard, and Jack brings me weeds.:)

He is always getting into mischief, but we can never punish him because we think he is just too darn cute. The other day ago, Da caught him getting some candy out of the candy jar, Da said "uh oh Jack". Jack grabbed a handful and took off running!

I love how he likes to tell us "secrets" He in not much for real words yet, but his little whispers in my ear always makes me smile.

His little voice is just too precious. He is our slowest talker, but what he has to say is so sweet. I love to hear his sweet little voice calling "momma" from all over the house.

One of his favorite games is called "go!" He made it up, including the name. He plays it at night sometimes with Da and I after the girls are in bed for the night.(If he took a late or long nap, is up later sometimes). It consists of standing against a wall, and than he takes off running and yells GO! He expects us to follow him until he ends up at another wall. Than you repeat. Its a great game, and I love to play it with him.

He loves dancing, jumping and playing ring around a rosie.

I just love this stage, it seems he is always learning and understanding more each day. We love you Jack Ryan! Sadie picked him out these sunglasses

This is what we call his handsome smile. If you ask him to give you a handsome smile, this is what you get. Eyes closed and everything.

We had a small party for him and invited two families from our ward that have little kids his age. I made him cupcakes and when we sang happy birthday to him, he sang along to himself. How sweet.

This picture is a bit fuzzy, but he blew out his candles as soon as the song was finished. I was so surprised, I didn't think he would know what to do, but he did it on the first try.

We played one game, musical chairs(never taking out any chairs of course) Baby Madi(as we call her) is in front of Jack, and Ben is in front of Madi. His two little friends. We are so happy that Jack has these sweet little friends, he really loves them both and talks about them and loves to play with them. Thanks for coming guys!

Jack loved opening his presents. Da and I got him this little tool bench which has been a great hit. Every gift he opened was the same reaction, pure excitement. Thank you to all who thought of him and sent him your love through packages and phone calls. It grieves our hearts to know that our extended family really does not know this sweet little boy, one sad thing about living far away. However, we are grateful to be living here and now this is exactly where the Lord wants us to be, and we have been so blessed.
